This is us!
Hichborn Middle School is located in Howland, Maine, where the Piscataquis River, after a long and scenic meander, empties into the Penobscot River. Our school houses Grades 6 through 8. At the present time, there are three Sixth Grade,three Seventh Grade, and four Eighth Grade homerooms with a population of 197 students. We have a staff of approximately 30. Our school mascot is the Cougar and our teams compete in the Northern Penquis League. We welcome visitors to our school. To arrange a visit, please contact the Principal, Mr. Jeffrey K. We are back!
As of Monday, November 6, 2000, we are back in our school building. After six (6) months of construction, we are back in our classrooms. The school looks great! We invite parents and community members to visit us on Thursday, November 9, 2000 for Parent/Student/Teacher conferences. If you haven't signed up for a time , please call us 732-3113 to schedule your conference. Conferences will be held from noon to 7 PM. Join us!!
